About Fusco-Moore Productions

Fusco-Moore Productions started as a way of making Jim Fusco and Chris Moore's creative works more "real"- they came up with a logo and slapped it on the back of all their CDs and books.

But after a while, an idea started to form: what about making it a REAL production company?

More than seven years later and three website designs, Fusco-Moore Productions is now the home of Fusco-Moore Music (and the home of music by Jim Fusco, Chris Moore, and Jeff Copperthite), WCJM Internet Radio, the band Masters of the Universe (MoU), Fusco-Moore Studios, and the incredibly popular Laptop Sessions.

Fusco-Moore Productions will continue to grow: you'll see more new music and videos every week! Plus, we give you music and content that doesn't cost very much and is leagues better than you'll find from any other independent production company.

The History of Fusco-Moore Music

Fusco-Moore Productions was founded in 2001 by high school friends Jim Fusco and Chris Moore as an outlet for their creative efforts.  Over the years, FMP (as it has come to be abbreviated) has gone from merely an idea discussed by the two friends to a multi-faceted production team.

In its earliest incarnation, Fusco-Moore Productions was simply the logo attached to any creative project completed by Jim and Chris – everything from Jim’s albums to Chris’ poetry collections bore the name.  Included with the credits, their label was a means of adding credibility to what they did.

In 2003, Jim designed and launched fusco-moore.com.  Complete with multimedia, an online store, and previews of songs and videos, the site represented the next logical step in the promotion of their material.  Whereas they had previously worked in isolation, the team of Fusco and Moore could now share and/or sell their work online to a global audience. In 2005, the site was redesigned to be more modern and media-rich.

In 2007, Jim and Chris officially opened their new studio in Meriden, CT.  Jim redesigned the Fusco-Moore site to include newly signed artist Jeff Copperthite, an updated multimedia section, and the first official FMP Blog.  Coinciding with the launch of the new website was the inauguration of the “Laptop Sessions,” a regularly updated series of videos highlighting covers performed by FMP artists.  Linked directly to youtube.com, this was yet another step forward for the promotion of the production team’s material.

In early 2008, Jim worked with bandmate Cliff Huizenga to yet again redesign the now-titled Fusco-Moore Music website to fit better with the growing number of artists and projects.

Today, Fusco-Moore Productions is the official home of three recording artists—Jim Fusco, Chris Moore, and Jeff Copperthite—and one band—Masters of the Universe.  Jim and Chris continue to write and record and, of course, share their work with each other and with the world.
