This CD, the second in a series of Chris Moore initial releases, features some of Chris's best lyrics from any of his hundreds of songs. Jim Fusco's favorite Chris Moore tune, "Goodbye," appeared newly recorded on 2004's "Live in the Studio" album.
Either just a piano or guitar and Chris's voice, Chris manages to engage the listener with tales of people, fictitious and real. Chris also experiments with harmonies (with success) on some songs, giving his work yet another facet of complexity.
Chris's lyrics on these fifteen songs seem to show Chris's lack of caring what people may think. Some lyrics, like those in "Writing Thousand Kingdom Blues" are just downright funny. But, what's even more funny is: they actually make sense! Chris plays off of societies vices and puts them into songs that provoke meaning and thoughts from its listeners. Give this one a try!
