"Expressions"

In 2003, Jeff Copperthite brought Quilt back into the studio to record another album. Except this time, it would be different...

Jeff's Quilt bandmate, Scott, used to write the vast majority of Quilt's songs. But, Jeff had been experimenting more and more with lyrical songwriting, and decided to record them in an album he called "Expressions."

Filled with great guitar work from Scott, plus Jeff's usual skills at guitar, bass, drums, and pianos, this album has a wide array of songs ranging from rocking to melancholy. Jeff had a lot of life experiences to write about after two decades of lyric-less songs. This album is a personal favorite among the rest of the Fusco-Moore artists. The production quality and sound of the songs is what makes this album stand out, and Jeff's knowledge of music theory always makes for some interesting chord progressions that are melodic and unique.
