No new post tonight...
Hi folks, Jim Fusco here.
I'm in good spirits tonight, but I want to explain a bit about my current situation, as there is no new cover song music video tonight. I'll try for Thursday.
You see, the way things are now, I really can't have too much fun outside of the weekend. The fact is that I'm tired. I can't seem to stay up late anymore (although, I do) and be functional the next morning. When I try to do things I'm interested in, like work on my music or work on the blog, then I start to slack off on work for my night job, which gets me in both a world of trouble and a BAD mood. And then, that mood carries-over into my day job.
Bottom line: I want to be happy at work during the day and the past week, I've done that. I want to be happy at night, but it's tough to sit me down in front of an awesome computer with unlimited resources and say, "Now, make sure you don't do anything but work on here- no promoting your music or anything like that."
So, Tuesdays have been hard. And it's a shame, as I really practiced my video a lot over the weekend. I'm still excited to record it and present it to you. Again, tomorrow night will prove to be more work and finally a night to spend with my wife, then Thursday I'll be at a TV taping all night. I hope that I have the energy to do the video when I get home Thursday night.
Okay- just wanted to give you an update. Trust me, things are going fine, but it's a constant battle to balance everything. Have a great night and I'll see you on Thursday,
